Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 2.85% or 0.180 points to trade at 6.495 at the close. Meanwhile, Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) added 0.60% or 0.17 points to end at 28.35 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was up 0.57% or 0.0500 points to 8.8200 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 2.05% or 0.47 points to trade at 22.42 at the close. Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) declined 1.61% or 0.43 points to end at 26.23 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was down 1.52% or 0.085 points to 5.495.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 100 to 38 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.70% or 0.37 to $52.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.19% or 0.09 to hit $47.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 8.13 to trade at $1338.53 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.46% to 1.1914, while EUR/GBP rose 0.57% to 0.9217.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 92.49.
