Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Utilities and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 1.16% or 0.31 points to trade at 26.93 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 0.84% or 0.38 points to end at 45.80 and Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) was up 0.41% or 0.017 points to 4.203 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 3.77% or 0.2240 points to trade at 5.7140 at the close. Nordea Bank AB FDR (HE:NDA1V) declined 1.62% or 0.140 points to end at 8.480 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was down 1.57% or 0.130 points to 8.168.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 83 to 58 and 19 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.73% or 0.58 to $79.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.09% or 0.78 to hit $71.06 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.13% or 14.60 to trade at $1304.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.28% to 1.1729, while EUR/GBP fell 0.01% to 0.8763.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 93.69.
