Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which rose 1.03% or 0.20 points to trade at 19.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 0.78% or 0.40 points to end at 51.40 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) was up 0.56% or 0.11 points to 19.88 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 4.88% or 0.1950 points to trade at 3.7970 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 4.49% or 0.169 points to end at 3.591 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was down 1.74% or 1.40 points to 79.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 97 to 46 and 22 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 2.76% or 1.73 to $61.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 2.70% or 1.46 to hit $52.58 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1282.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.00% to 1.1364, while EUR/GBP fell 0.57% to 0.8763.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 95.933.
