Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which rose 1.46% or 0.30 points to trade at 20.86 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 0.35% or 0.26 points to end at 75.14 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) was up 0.05% or 0.02 points to 42.91 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which fell 2.60% or 0.84 points to trade at 31.51 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) declined 2.35% or 0.14 points to end at 5.61 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) was down 2.32% or 0.98 points to 41.26.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 104 to 47 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.60% or 0.84 to 31.51. Shares in Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) rose to all time highs; up 0.35% or 0.26 to 75.14.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 2.27% or 1.65 to $71.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 2.69% or 1.82 to hit $65.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.32% or 16.10 to trade at $1202.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.14% to 1.1395, while EUR/GBP fell 0.03% to 0.8934.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 96.25.
