Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities, Telecoms and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 3.49% or 1.01 points to trade at 29.99 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 2.75% or 0.79 points to end at 29.56 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) was up 2.72% or 0.12 points to 4.68 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO), which fell 6.68% or 1.2300 points to trade at 17.1900 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 3.50% or 1.28 points to end at 35.28 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was down 2.82% or 0.68 points to 23.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 87 to 53 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.82% or 0.68 to 23.45.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 0.28% or 0.22 to $77.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.67% or 0.45 to hit $67.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1231.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.17% to 1.1383, while EUR/GBP rose 0.03% to 0.8891.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 96.39.
