Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM), which rose 0.89% or 0.23 points to trade at 26.13 at the close. Meanwhile, Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) added 0.86% or 0.12 points to end at 14.16 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was up 0.84% or 0.09 points to 10.77 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which fell 7.31% or 4.24 points to trade at 53.76 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 4.16% or 2.75 points to end at 63.35 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was down 1.79% or 0.81 points to 44.54.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 88 to 80 and 21 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 1.49% or 1.08 to $71.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.70% or 1.17 to hit $67.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 7.55 to trade at $2,565.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.23% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.54% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 106.51.
