Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA), which rose 5.78% or 2.07 points to trade at 37.88 at the close. Meanwhile, DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) added 3.39% or 0.6000 points to end at 18.3100 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 2.18% or 1.56 points to 73.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which fell 3.81% or 1.48 points to trade at 37.38 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 2.92% or 0.118 points to end at 3.919 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was down 2.64% or 0.87 points to 32.13.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 79 to 69 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.58% or 0.42 to $73.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.43% or 0.27 to hit $63.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1231.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.07% to 1.1397, while EUR/GBP fell 0.31% to 0.8753.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 96.22.
