Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Utilities and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO), which rose 1.58% or 0.2800 points to trade at 17.9700 at the close. Meanwhile, Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 1.52% or 0.085 points to end at 5.670 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 1.15% or 0.042 points to 3.709 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which fell 7.42% or 2.50 points to trade at 31.21 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 2.65% or 0.75 points to end at 27.55 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was down 1.42% or 0.40 points to 27.78.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 74 to 70 and 20 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 1.77% or 1.09 to $60.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 1.71% or 0.90 to hit $51.69 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.45 to trade at $1290.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.14% to 1.1482, while EUR/GBP fell 0.96% to 0.8931.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 95.137.
