Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Utilities and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which rose 0.97% or 0.04 points to trade at 4.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) added 0.94% or 0.17 points to end at 17.66 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) was up 0.68% or 0.27 points to 39.71 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB), which fell 4.38% or 0.84 points to trade at 18.32 at the close. TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO) declined 3.15% or 0.55 points to end at 16.92 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) was down 2.41% or 0.31 points to 12.34.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 131 to 41 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.41% or 0.31 to 12.34.
Brent oil for February delivery was down 0.95% or 0.71 to $73.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 1.61% or 1.15 to hit $70.14 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 5.79 to trade at $2,670.01 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.09% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.45% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 106.54.
