Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 4.65% or 2.10 points to trade at 47.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 1.21% or 0.120 points to end at 10.010 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 0.88% or 0.23 points to 26.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 3.17% or 0.1820 points to trade at 5.5620 at the close. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) declined 1.68% or 0.31 points to end at 18.20 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) was down 1.46% or 0.07 points to 5.07.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 72 to 66 and 20 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for August delivery was down 1.09% or 0.84 to $76.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 0.64% or 0.42 to hit $65.53 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.70 to trade at $1302.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.24% to 1.1771, while EUR/GBP fell 0.08% to 0.8783.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 93.57.
