Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1), which rose 2.11% or 0.081 points to trade at 3.914 at the close. Meanwhile, Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) added 1.41% or 0.52 points to end at 37.37 and DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) was up 1.09% or 0.2000 points to 18.5300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V), which fell 2.11% or 0.65 points to trade at 30.20 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 1.70% or 0.58 points to end at 33.47 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was down 1.62% or 0.29 points to 17.89.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 82 to 63 and 16 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 0.72% or 0.56 to $78.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.44% or 0.31 to hit $70.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 2.80 to trade at $1207.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.12% to 1.1617, while EUR/GBP rose 0.75% to 0.9020.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 95.06.
