Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 2.57% or 0.200 points to trade at 7.982 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 1.99% or 1.36 points to end at 69.62 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 1.22% or 0.38 points to 31.41 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V), which fell 3.24% or 0.60 points to trade at 18.09 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) declined 2.95% or 0.150 points to end at 4.940 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was down 2.13% or 0.55 points to 25.29.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 78 to 66 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for August delivery was up 0.40% or 0.31 to $78.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.73% or 1.18 to hit $67.03 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1301.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.03% to 1.1659, while EUR/GBP fell 0.08% to 0.8773.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.12.
