Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 3.15% or 1.47 points to trade at 48.14 at the close. Meanwhile, Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 3.02% or 0.13 points to end at 4.56 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was up 1.67% or 0.05 points to 2.99 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which fell 2.42% or 1.50 points to trade at 60.45 at the close. Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) declined 2.07% or 0.83 points to end at 39.18 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) was down 1.67% or 1.30 points to 76.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 101 to 63 and 25 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.92% or 0.74 to $80.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.15% or 0.89 to hit $76.50 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.94% or 25.71 to trade at $2,722.99 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 1.13% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.05% at 108.06.
