Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB), which rose 2.84% or 1.29 points to trade at 46.69 at the close. Meanwhile, DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) added 2.02% or 0.3800 points to end at 19.2000 and Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) was up 1.98% or 0.077 points to 3.972 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV), which fell 2.00% or 0.83 points to trade at 40.73 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 1.92% or 0.68 points to end at 34.72 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) was down 1.80% or 0.35 points to 19.39.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 78 to 64 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.92% or 0.68 to 34.72.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 0.02% or 0.02 to $80.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $71.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 8.30 to trade at $1230.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.24% to 1.1587, while EUR/GBP rose 0.15% to 0.8805.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 94.70.
