Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V), which rose 1.67% or 0.50 points to trade at 30.42 at the close. Meanwhile, Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 0.88% or 0.065 points to end at 7.475 and Nordea Bank AB FDR (HE:NDA1V) was up 0.84% or 0.080 points to 9.635 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which fell 2.08% or 0.55 points to trade at 25.89 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 2.08% or 0.98 points to end at 46.04 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was down 1.82% or 0.146 points to 7.854.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 73 to 72 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.67% or 0.50 to 30.42.
Brent oil for May delivery was down 0.96% or 0.63 to $64.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 1.31% or 0.81 to hit $61.23 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 3.10 to trade at $1320.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.17% to 1.2329, while EUR/GBP fell 0.11% to 0.8871.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 89.94.
