Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which rose 2.46% or 0.125 points to trade at 5.200 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) added 1.08% or 0.40 points to end at 37.35 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 0.35% or 0.040 points to 11.460 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which fell 1.94% or 0.97 points to trade at 49.08 at the close. Nordea Bank AB FDR (HE:NDA1V) declined 1.65% or 0.180 points to end at 10.760 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was down 1.65% or 0.67 points to 40.03.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 83 to 53 and 19 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.05% or 0.03 to $55.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.34% or 0.17 to hit $49.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.15 to trade at $1327.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.32% to 1.1957, while EUR/GBP fell 0.96% to 0.8811.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 91.80.
