Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Utilities and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 2.15% or 0.46 points to trade at 21.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 2.07% or 0.89 points to end at 43.91 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) was up 1.34% or 0.21 points to 15.89 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 1.90% or 0.1400 points to trade at 7.2450 at the close. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) declined 1.43% or 0.44 points to end at 30.38 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was down 1.37% or 0.75 points to 53.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 76 to 67 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.43% or 0.44 to 30.38.
Brent oil for February delivery was up 1.02% or 0.64 to $63.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 0.68% or 0.39 to hit $57.86 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.89% or 11.40 to trade at $1266.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.44% to 1.1814, while EUR/GBP fell 0.19% to 0.8785.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 93.36.
