Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI), which rose 1.79% or 0.20 points to trade at 11.40 at the close. Meanwhile, TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO) added 1.23% or 0.23 points to end at 18.86 and Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) was up 0.99% or 0.16 points to 16.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which fell 3.39% or 0.35 points to trade at 9.82 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) declined 1.49% or 0.19 points to end at 12.85 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was down 1.31% or 0.10 points to 7.54.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 81 to 73 and 32 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for August delivery was up 1.99% or 1.56 to $79.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 2.17% or 1.61 to hit $75.68 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.77% or 18.30 to trade at $2,393.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.13% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 104.18.
