Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which rose 2.54% or 0.31 points to trade at 12.30 at the close. Meanwhile, KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) added 1.04% or 0.54 points to end at 52.68 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was up 0.58% or 0.06 points to 10.46 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which fell 5.64% or 0.57 points to trade at 9.62 at the close. TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO) declined 5.04% or 0.91 points to end at 17.13 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) was down 2.81% or 2.55 points to 88.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 99 to 67 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO) fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.04% or 0.91 to 17.13.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 3.50% or 2.73 to $80.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 3.70% or 2.75 to hit $77.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 2.60 to trade at $2,665.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.00% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.39% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 102.23.
