Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 1.80% or 0.17 points to trade at 9.64 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) added 1.15% or 0.10 points to end at 8.65 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 0.91% or 0.11 points to 11.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT), which fell 1.51% or 0.39 points to trade at 25.43 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 0.97% or 0.46 points to end at 47.01 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) was down 0.74% or 0.70 points to 94.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 96 to 69 and 24 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 2.38% or 1.86 to $80.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.98% or 2.23 to hit $77.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 5.35 to trade at $2,551.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.24% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 100.76.
