Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Utilities, Oil & Gas and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which rose 2.44% or 0.112 points to trade at 4.693 at the close. Meanwhile, DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) added 1.54% or 0.2800 points to end at 18.5200 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 1.18% or 0.40 points to 34.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which fell 2.37% or 0.53 points to trade at 21.87 at the close. Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) declined 1.62% or 0.59 points to end at 35.90 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) was down 1.13% or 0.44 points to 38.46.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 85 to 60 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) rose to all time highs; rising 1.18% or 0.40 to 34.40.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 1.59% or 1.27 to $78.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 2.19% or 1.54 to hit $68.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.60 to trade at $1208.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.44% to 1.1677, while EUR/GBP fell 0.01% to 0.8910.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 94.60.
