Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 4.87% or 0.2620 points to trade at 5.6420 at the close. Meanwhile, Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 3.27% or 0.83 points to end at 26.23 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 3.20% or 0.95 points to 30.63 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 5.18% or 3.62 points to trade at 66.28 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) declined 4.39% or 0.24 points to end at 5.33 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was down 2.75% or 0.137 points to 4.841.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 92 to 57 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.39% or 0.24 to 5.33.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.11% or 0.08 to $73.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.28% or 0.19 to hit $67.44 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1305.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.32% to 1.1955, while EUR/GBP fell 0.20% to 0.8790.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 92.52.
