Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB), which rose 4.45% or 0.290 points to trade at 6.805 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 1.57% or 0.75 points to end at 48.53 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 1.30% or 0.056 points to 4.348 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 2.58% or 0.2200 points to trade at 8.3150 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) declined 1.42% or 0.56 points to end at 38.80 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was down 1.04% or 0.37 points to 35.11.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 79 to 64 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.04% or 0.37 to 35.11.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.35% or 0.21 to $60.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.31% or 0.17 to hit $54.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.88 to trade at $1278.18 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.34% to 1.1659, while EUR/GBP rose 1.87% to 0.8936.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 94.63.
