Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities, Technology and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 0.69% or 0.32 points to trade at 46.61 at the close. Meanwhile, KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) added 0.65% or 0.30 points to end at 46.22 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 0.43% or 0.09 points to 19.92 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which fell 1.69% or 0.16 points to trade at 9.03 at the close. Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) declined 1.39% or 0.06 points to end at 4.27 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was down 1.24% or 0.75 points to 59.95.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 97 to 70 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) rose to 52-week highs; rising 0.69% or 0.32 to 46.61.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 1.42% or 1.15 to $79.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.60% or 1.25 to hit $76.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.53% or 38.05 to trade at $2,530.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.23% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.20% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 102.56.
