Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB), which rose 1.81% or 0.160 points to trade at 8.980 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) added 1.55% or 0.061 points to end at 4.002 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 1.36% or 0.41 points to 30.49 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB), which fell 9.46% or 5.24 points to trade at 50.14 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 6.44% or 2.39 points to end at 34.72 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 1.49% or 0.0820 points to 5.4060.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 72 to 68 and 22 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for September delivery was up 0.87% or 0.64 to $74.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 1.50% or 1.03 to hit $69.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.60 to trade at $1229.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.08% to 1.1679, while EUR/GBP fell 0.08% to 0.8883.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 94.33.
