Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities, Technology and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 1.66% or 0.27 points to trade at 16.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 1.29% or 0.60 points to end at 46.99 and Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) was up 1.28% or 0.23 points to 18.13 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA), which fell 1.87% or 0.40 points to trade at 20.94 at the close. Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) declined 1.82% or 1.60 points to end at 86.35 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was down 1.65% or 0.10 points to 5.97.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 112 to 56 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) fell to 3-years lows; down 1.65% or 0.10 to 5.97.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.37% or 0.98 to $72.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.56% or 1.06 to hit $68.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 3.15 to trade at $2,607.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.42% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.19% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 100.44.
