Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities, Consumer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 4.53% or 0.3250 points to trade at 7.4950 at the close. Meanwhile, Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) added 1.89% or 0.53 points to end at 28.61 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) was up 1.76% or 0.29 points to 16.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which fell 1.55% or 0.27 points to trade at 17.16 at the close. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) declined 0.95% or 0.25 points to end at 26.17 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was down 0.94% or 0.50 points to 52.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 74 to 67 and 20 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for February delivery was up 0.39% or 0.25 to $63.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.51% or 0.29 to hit $57.51 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.70 to trade at $1262.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.32% to 1.1820, while EUR/GBP rose 0.59% to 0.8854.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 93.23.
