Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 1.42%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which rose 5.32% or 4.10 points to trade at 81.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT) added 4.52% or 1.17 points to end at 27.07 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 3.33% or 0.62 points to 19.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 0.60% or 0.11 points to trade at 17.30 at the close. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) declined 0.02% or 0.01 points to end at 46.98 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 0.47% or 0.20 points to 42.86.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 107 to 58 and 24 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 0.54% or 0.45 to $82.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.56% or 0.44 to hit $78.20 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 11.35 to trade at $2,387.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.03% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 104.12.
