Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 1.39% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 16.83% or 9.06 points to trade at 62.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 7.75% or 3.42 points to end at 47.56 and Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) was up 5.36% or 1.52 points to 29.86 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 12.56% or 0.7600 points to trade at 5.2900 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) declined 10.51% or 0.70 points to end at 5.96 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 7.67% or 2.01 points to 24.18.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 76 to 72 and 10 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for June delivery was up 0.59% or 0.44 to $74.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $68.02 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.40 to trade at $1318.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.37% to 1.2116, while EUR/GBP fell 0.34% to 0.8700.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 91.30.
