Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 1.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 8.32% or 4.30 points to trade at 56.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 4.99% or 3.80 points to end at 79.95 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) was up 4.62% or 3.90 points to 88.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA), which fell 0.68% or 0.03 points to trade at 4.21 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) declined 0.55% or 0.04 points to end at 7.28 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was down 0.39% or 0.01 points to 3.56.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 89 to 65 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) rose to all time highs; rising 8.32% or 4.30 to 56.00. Shares in Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.62% or 3.90 to 88.40.
Brent oil for August delivery was up 0.50% or 0.41 to $82.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.49% or 0.38 to hit $78.28 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.10% or 25.50 to trade at $2,352.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.96% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.20% at 103.94.
