Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 1.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 3.37% or 0.11 points to trade at 3.47 at the close. Meanwhile, Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) added 3.16% or 0.34 points to end at 11.10 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was up 2.88% or 0.18 points to 6.26 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which fell 1.50% or 0.16 points to trade at 10.50 at the close. Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) declined 0.84% or 0.75 points to end at 89.05 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was down 0.32% or 0.15 points to 47.04.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 107 to 58 and 21 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.61% or 1.18 to $74.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.59% or 1.12 to hit $71.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 15.15 to trade at $2,667.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.35% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.14% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 100.34.
