Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 1.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which rose 7.67% or 5.30 points to trade at 74.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 4.53% or 0.19 points to end at 4.49 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was up 3.18% or 0.34 points to 11.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which fell 2.76% or 0.39 points to trade at 13.73 at the close. Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) declined 1.61% or 0.64 points to end at 39.04 and Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO) was down 0.98% or 0.09 points to 9.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 91 to 81 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was up 0.85% or 0.65 to $76.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.83% or 0.61 to hit $74.17 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 19.29 to trade at $2,666.69 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.20% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 108.26.
