Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Technology and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 1.09% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV), which rose 2.52% or 1.15 points to trade at 46.87 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 1.80% or 0.60 points to end at 33.98 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 1.71% or 0.082 points to 4.883 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1), which fell 1.88% or 0.075 points to trade at 3.920 at the close. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) added 0.06% or 0.02 points to end at 31.74 and DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) was up 0.22% or 0.0400 points to 18.5700.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 81 to 64 and 20 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 0.13% or 0.10 to $76.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $68.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 3.70 to trade at $1217.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.55% to 1.1687, while EUR/GBP rose 0.18% to 0.9061.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 94.64.
