Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV), which rose 2.85% or 1.25 points to trade at 45.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 2.75% or 0.2300 points to end at 8.5950 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 1.84% or 0.200 points to 11.050 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 0.60% or 0.13 points to trade at 21.56 at the close. Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) added 0.07% or 0.03 points to end at 44.13 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 0.23% or 0.09 points to 39.28.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 87 to 48 and 18 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.74% or 0.38 to $51.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.09% or 0.04 to hit $46.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.42 to trade at $1315.48 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.39% to 1.1925, while EUR/GBP fell 0.52% to 0.9217.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 92.61.
