Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 12.81% or 3.21 points to trade at 28.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) added 7.32% or 0.99 points to end at 14.60 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 5.01% or 0.231 points to 4.843 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which fell 10.22% or 3.32 points to trade at 29.18 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) declined 3.00% or 0.15 points to end at 5.01 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was down 2.18% or 0.171 points to 7.679.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 90 to 64 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.18% or 0.171 to 7.679.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.50% or 0.38 to $76.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.67% or 0.45 to hit $67.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 4.70 to trade at $1232.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.19% to 1.1370, while EUR/GBP rose 0.31% to 0.8870.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 96.42.
