Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 6.34% or 1.16 points to trade at 19.36 at the close. Meanwhile, Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) added 4.36% or 0.18 points to end at 4.40 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 2.14% or 0.39 points to 18.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 1.02% or 0.03 points to trade at 3.21 at the close. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) declined 0.75% or 0.35 points to end at 46.40 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was down 0.50% or 0.30 points to 59.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 100 to 57 and 28 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 1.77% or 1.46 to $80.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.90% or 1.52 to hit $78.54 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 4.65 to trade at $2,508.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.21% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.23% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 102.73.
