Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.92%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 3.03% or 0.170 points to trade at 5.775 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 3.01% or 0.2450 points to end at 8.3950 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was up 1.84% or 0.65 points to 36.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 0.40% or 0.09 points to trade at 22.49 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 0.09% or 0.04 points to end at 45.04 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 0.12% or 0.05 points to 40.82.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 89 to 48 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for October delivery was up 0.64% or 0.33 to $51.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.80% or 0.38 to hit $47.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.46 to trade at $1292.24 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.44% to 1.1764, while EUR/GBP rose 0.07% to 0.9165.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 93.37.
