Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 2.85% or 1.39 points to trade at 50.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 2.19% or 0.1650 points to end at 7.6950 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 1.83% or 0.120 points to 6.695 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V), which fell 0.82% or 0.05 points to trade at 6.02 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 0.27% or 0.10 points to end at 36.78 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 0.20% or 0.04 points to 20.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 96 to 46 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.85% or 1.39 to 50.15. Shares in YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) fell to 52-week lows; down 0.82% or 0.05 to 6.02.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 0.63% or 0.39 to $61.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.25% or 0.14 to hit $55.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.63 to trade at $1281.33 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.14% to 1.1775, while EUR/GBP fell 0.27% to 0.8928.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.76.
