Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.67%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 2.92% or 0.29 points to trade at 10.22 at the close. Meanwhile, Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) added 2.33% or 0.42 points to end at 18.20 and Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) was up 1.77% or 0.30 points to 16.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 1.94% or 0.33 points to trade at 16.64 at the close. Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) unchanged 0.16% or 0.00 points to end at 2.46 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) was down 0.05% or 0.02 points to 42.68.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 99 to 64 and 25 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for September delivery was up 1.13% or 0.96 to $85.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 1.45% or 1.18 to hit $82.59 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 17.45 to trade at $2,385.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.10% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.37% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 104.74.
