Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Consumer Services and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI), which rose 6.16% or 0.64 points to trade at 11.03 at the close. Meanwhile, TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO) added 2.27% or 0.39 points to end at 17.58 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 1.28% or 0.61 points to 48.21 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 2.62% or 0.11 points to trade at 3.94 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) declined 0.93% or 0.10 points to end at 10.69 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) was down 0.28% or 0.05 points to 15.96.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 82 to 73 and 32 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $74.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.16% or 0.11 to hit $70.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 17.05 to trade at $2,708.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.23% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.35% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 103.55.
