Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Utilities and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which rose 2.64% or 0.65 points to trade at 25.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) added 2.50% or 0.098 points to end at 4.016 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was up 2.42% or 0.67 points to 28.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB), which fell 2.55% or 0.170 points to trade at 6.505 at the close. DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) declined 1.27% or 0.2200 points to end at 17.1000 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 0.71% or 0.24 points to 33.47.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 81 to 68 and 18 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for February delivery was up 2.90% or 1.71 to $60.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 2.64% or 1.33 to hit $51.75 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1229.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.06% to 1.1343, while EUR/GBP fell 0.01% to 0.8847.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 96.873.
