Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 3.74% or 1.31 points to trade at 36.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 2.99% or 0.52 points to end at 17.94 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 1.56% or 0.120 points to 7.800 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB), which fell 2.28% or 0.190 points to trade at 8.130 at the close. Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) declined 1.41% or 0.055 points to end at 3.857 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was down 0.75% or 0.27 points to 35.79.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 73 to 60 and 25 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for May delivery was up 2.03% or 1.34 to $67.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 2.25% or 1.40 to hit $63.53 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.50 to trade at $1312.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.62% to 1.2260, while EUR/GBP fell 0.49% to 0.8753.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 89.89.
