Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.59% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 3.44% or 1.09 points to trade at 32.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 2.18% or 1.09 points to end at 51.05 and Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) was up 1.85% or 0.070 points to 3.850 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 1.50% or 0.80 points to trade at 52.58 at the close. Valmt (HE:VALMT) declined 0.41% or 0.07 points to end at 17.17 and YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) was down 0.38% or 0.03 points to 6.52.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 103 to 42 and 12 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.60% or 0.41 to $67.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.97% or 0.60 to hit $61.41 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1321.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.19% to 1.2044, while EUR/GBP fell 0.33% to 0.8878.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 91.69.
