Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 3.76% or 0.35 points to trade at 9.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 3.04% or 0.39 points to end at 13.22 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) was up 2.65% or 1.80 points to 69.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 1.65% or 0.06 points to trade at 3.40 at the close. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) declined 0.80% or 0.21 points to end at 26.03 and Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) was down 0.76% or 0.03 points to 4.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 100 to 67 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) fell to 3-years lows; falling 0.80% or 0.21 to 26.03.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 2.96% or 2.19 to $71.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 3.30% or 2.32 to hit $68.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.70% or 72.80 to trade at $2,622.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.62% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.28% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.52% at 105.43.
