Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Utilities, Telecoms and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which rose 3.57% or 0.76 points to trade at 22.06 at the close. Meanwhile, Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 3.35% or 0.93 points to end at 28.70 and DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) was up 2.02% or 0.3600 points to 18.1500 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 4.75% or 0.272 points to trade at 5.460 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 2.27% or 0.1060 points to end at 4.5550 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was down 1.05% or 0.30 points to 28.17.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 92 to 57 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.75% or 0.272 to 5.460. Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.27% or 0.1060 to 4.5550.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.41% or 0.31 to $76.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.74% or 0.50 to hit $67.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.30 to trade at $1201.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.53% to 1.1560, while EUR/GBP fell 0.50% to 0.8944.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 95.34.
