Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 4.42% or 1.82 points to trade at 43.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) added 3.53% or 0.230 points to end at 6.748 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 3.36% or 0.56 points to 17.36 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA), which fell 4.02% or 1.51 points to trade at 36.09 at the close. Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 1.64% or 1.10 points to end at 65.94 and YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) was down 1.38% or 0.07 points to 5.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 70 to 70 and 16 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 4.46% or 3.36 to $71.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 4.06% or 2.84 to hit $67.11 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 2.20 to trade at $1239.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.13% to 1.1701, while EUR/GBP rose 0.23% to 0.8849.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 94.34.
