Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Telecoms and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 2.69% or 0.28 points to trade at 10.67 at the close. Meanwhile, Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) added 2.40% or 0.10 points to end at 4.35 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was up 1.86% or 0.90 points to 49.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 1.61% or 0.27 points to trade at 16.45 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 1.32% or 0.46 points to end at 34.44 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was down 1.30% or 0.08 points to 6.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 83 to 77 and 29 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 1.18% or 0.87 to $72.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.45% or 1.03 to hit $69.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 7.70 to trade at $2,653.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.29% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.55% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 100.52.
