Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 2.60% or 1.30 points to trade at 51.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 1.72% or 0.82 points to end at 48.45 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 1.32% or 0.42 points to 32.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1), which fell 2.18% or 0.082 points to trade at 3.680 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.54% or 0.1150 points to end at 7.3550 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 0.75% or 0.16 points to 21.23.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 79 to 58 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.60% or 1.30 to 51.30.
Brent oil for February delivery was down 0.24% or 0.15 to $63.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.24% or 0.14 to hit $57.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1295.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.13% to 1.1883, while EUR/GBP rose 0.52% to 0.8978.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 93.04.
