Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Basic Materials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.37% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 3.33% or 0.31 points to trade at 9.47 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT) added 1.84% or 0.47 points to end at 25.95 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 1.39% or 0.16 points to 11.69 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 3.16% or 0.69 points to trade at 21.15 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) declined 0.49% or 0.09 points to end at 18.29 and Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) was down 0.35% or 0.02 points to 4.28.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 103 to 65 and 22 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 1.99% or 1.57 to $77.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 2.48% or 1.88 to hit $74.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.99% or 25.40 to trade at $2,534.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.15% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.12% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 101.57.
