Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Utilities and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which rose 3.10% or 0.120 points to trade at 3.995 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) added 2.13% or 0.084 points to end at 4.033 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 0.98% or 0.32 points to 32.81 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 1.75% or 0.40 points to trade at 22.51 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 1.70% or 0.122 points to end at 7.050 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was down 1.26% or 0.53 points to 41.56.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 75 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for April delivery was down 1.41% or 0.99 to $69.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 0.94% or 0.62 to hit $65.52 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 12.60 to trade at $1339.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.53% to 1.2361, while EUR/GBP rose 0.16% to 0.8797.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 89.31.
